There’s often that one special person in your life whom you love deeply, and if you’re fortunate, that love is returned. The Bold and the Beautiful actor Scott Clifton (Liam) recently found himself at the center of a touching social media tribute when his girlfriend, Elle Anderson, shared heartfelt praise for the man she calls the “silent hero.”
“I haven’t shared anything about Scott in far too long, and somehow I even forgot to post for his birthday,” Anderson wrote on Instagram. She followed that admission by saying, “Today, though, I just feel incredibly grateful for this man.”
Anderson described Clifton as the “quiet strength” behind so much of their everyday life and praised the way he “shows up every single day without needing recognition.” She also reflected on the period when she underwent “two major back surgeries” and explained that he cared for her with “a level of patience, love and devotion” that meant the world to her.
Calling Clifton “the most incredible dad” and “the kind of friend everyone hopes to have,” Anderson noted that he still manages to “find the energy to jump into every wild event production” she dreams up, “no matter how big, complicated or exhausting it may be.”
She went on to point out that he cares not only for their dogs, chickens and family, but also for “everyone lucky enough to be in his orbit.”
Wrapping up the touching tribute, which included several sweet photos of Clifton and their family, Anderson wrote, “Scott, you are the silent hero of our family. You make all of our lives better simply by being who you are. I love you endlessly, and I am so grateful that we get to do this life together. The world would be a better place if more people were like you.”
The post certainly caught Clifton’s attention. The actor responded in the comments with, “I’m not crying, you’re crying. (I love you.)”
